Last updated: July 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Numeral Technologies, Inc. ("Tally," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit tallyrevenue.com, create an account, or use the Tally revenue recognition and period-close application (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

We collect information you give us directly, including your name, business email address, company name, job title, billing details, and any content or messages you send us when you sign up, contact support, or request a demo.

Financial and transaction data

To provide revenue recognition, you may connect Tally to third-party systems such as payment processors, billing platforms, and accounting software. With your authorization, we access and process transaction records, invoices, contracts, and related financial data through read-only connections in order to apply your ASC 606 rules and produce close outputs.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Service we automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, and usage patterns, through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How We Use Information

  • To perform revenue recognition calculations and generate reports, schedules, and journal entries;
  • To authenticate users and secure accounts;
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • To respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
  • To send administrative messages, service updates, and, where permitted, marketing communications;
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security incidents; and
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, payment processing, and analytics, under contractual confidentiality obligations;
  • Integrations you authorize: with third-party systems you choose to connect to the Service;
  • Legal requirements: when required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request;
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy; and
  • With your consent: for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time.

4. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, connections to your source systems are read-only, and access to production data is restricted and logged. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal and financial information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your data as described below.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can also opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in those messages. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect functionality.

8. International Transfers

We are based in the United States and may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers of personal information.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
